Australia is one of Enagic®'s most active markets, with the Sydney office serving as the processing hub for all Australian orders. For distributors operating domestically, the basics are straightforward—but the moment you add imported products or sell to customers in other countries, the complexity multiplies.

What Australian distributors deal with

GST at 10%. Most Enagic® products sold in Australia attract 10% GST. However, some products—like Ukon capsules and soap—are GST-exempt. Getting the tax treatment right on a multi-product quote matters because the paperwork needs to match the amount charged.

Domestic vs imported products.Machines like the K8 and Anespa DX ship from the Sydney office and are priced in AUD. But Ukon capsules and soap ship from the Singapore office and are priced in SGD. If your customer orders a K8 and an Ukon together, you're dealing with two currencies, two shipping calculations, and potentially different tax treatments—in a single order.

Australian-specific paperwork.Australian orders require a specific set of forms—Application Forms, Return Policy agreements, Policies and Procedures acknowledgments, and Alternate Payer, Bank Details, and accessory forms, depending on what's ordered. Each form requires the Applicant and Sponsor details to be filled out correctly, and the product placement order on the forms affects the distributor's compensation.

Selling to customers outside Australia. Many Australian distributors sell to customers in New Zealand, the US, Canada, or Europe. Each of those countries has different paperwork, different tax rules, and different Enagic® offices to submit to. What works for an Australian domestic sale doesn't translate to an international one.
